Amanda Dapkus

Amanda (Babington) Dapkus is an Allegro alum, and celebrated 10 years of teaching here in 2022. She is also the former Dance Company Director. Currently, Amanda is Allegro’s Social Media Director.

Amanda has had dance in her life since the age of three. She has taught and choreographed  for dance studios in the New England Area and attended Slippery Rock University as a Dance Major where she studied Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Modern and Dance History.

Outside of dance, Amanda received her Associates Degree in Orthopedic Technology. She has worked alongside Boston area orthopedic surgeons treating patients. Studying the body’s anatomy and training in injury prevention, she brings this knowledge to the classroom to better serve her students in safe and effective dance training. 

Amanda lives in Nashua with her husband and 2 little boys. She loves being able to teach dancers of all ages – watching their growth year to year and class to class. Amanda hopes to be a positive role model in dance and in life just like her dance teachers have been to her.
