Colby Wygant

Colby Wygant started dancing at the age of 2½  in Hudson, NH and continued to dance through high school, graduating in June of 2016. During her 9 years at Allegro she enhanced her technique, strength, knowledge, and love for dance. She trained in all genres but her true passion is ballet. She is best known for her starring role as Tinkerbell in Allegro’s 10th Anniversary Dance Recital. Colby started assisting dance classes at Allegro at the age 11 and knew this was something she wanted to pursue when she was older.  She began competing at the age of 7 and has attended numerous dance conventions and competitions throughout New England.  She has received several scholarships from Tremaine Dance Convention and Competition, as well as International Dance Challenge, Dancers Inc., and The Beverly Miller Scholarship from Costume Gallery. She was also awarded the coveted Allegro Spirit Award in 2011.

After earning her degree in Early Childhood Education from Rivier University graduate, Colby continues to pursue her love of working with children as a Preschool Special Education teach in Merrimack, NH. Colby is thrilled to be sharing her love and passion for dance with her students at Allegro.
